Thanks for this, we upgraded our blog and had a few teething problems wordpress is my only choice for a blogging platform with all the updates and plug ins there is no need to bother with anything else ( unless you're on Microsoft servers) looking forward to the next update.

I think removing the syntax hilighting was a mistake, it was kind of nice, however, it was slightly annoying trying to put quotes in for you. Usually a code editor takes your input for shortcuts, not shorts the shortcuts to you.
I also really enjoy the redesigned widgets panel, wordpress's frontend is very nice.
However, I think SilverStripe has a better developer backend as a CMS. I think wordpress is an exemplary blogging platform.
Something great about it is that it can run on about anything... I installed wordpress on a failing yahoo! account, and amazingly enough it worked pretty well (although I had quite a few issues and eventually switched servers to something nicer).
I think it also feels snappier too, but I switched servers in the meantime, so it might have been that.
Choices... Choices...
I can't wait for the version of wordpress where the function names and parameters actually are easy to memorize, I make quite a few mistakes forgetting an underscore etc. using wordpress functions.
Frankly, I'm impressed with what has been done to wordpress, especially from the Envato people.
